Our History
Welcome to TheOGStream.com, blending songs you never thought you'd hear back to back.
HISTORY:
For generations, Old School and Cruisin' Classics, combined with Lowriders and the Lowrider culture have been staples of Southern California. In the early 2000s the sounds, and the way of life were showcased by a radio station known as HOT 92.3. Music and live events celebrated all things Hispanic.
Sadly, in 2015, the successful station was yanked off the airwaves. Now, the man who researched and launched HOT 92.3 is the same OG behind TheOGStream.com.
OG's will be proudly represented. In the near future, we will connect with Southern California via parties, live events, and of course, on-air requests and dedications. (Not in SoCal? You can still enjoy the music missing from your local radio stations!)
The JAMS:
As music has evolved, so will our song list as we will go deeper than any radio station. Yes, you'll finally hear the greatest Old School artists (Gap Band, Rick James, Mary Jane Girls), Classic R&B (Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Evelyn Champagne King), as well as Cruisin' Classics (War, Malo, Santana) AND the best 90s/2000s Throwbacks (from Beyonce to Biggie; Tupac to Keith Sweat; and Usher to Snoop Dogg).
However, being a TRUE OG means chilling to lost jams never heard on the radio-- classics from artists including Brenton Wood, Barbara Lewis, The Delfonics, Temprees, Impressions, Originals and many, many more, playing day and night.
